CPS-21 fully automatic machine for card prepersonalisation

Input stack holders

  • 2 input stack holders for 500 cards each (expandable)
  • Machine switches off input stack holder automatically when all cards from batch are taken

Chip programming

  • Chip station with 6 x 6 matrix = 36 contactless and optionally contact based units
  • Depending on the typical chip programming time, the matrix may be equipped with an appropriate number of chip programming units and their number may be extended later if necessary:
    • 6 x 2 = 12 chip programming units (for simple applications)
    • 6 x 4 = 24 chip programming units (standard)
    • 6 x 6 = 36 chip programming units (for advanced applications)
  • Optional: chip verification containing 2 units to check the integrity of the data and the conformity of the visible and electronic layers of the document

Visual inspection (before laser engraving)

  • Visual inspection and measurement of the blank document
  • Vision system developed in-house for maximum flexibility
  • Individual or global positioning of each engraved element

Laser engraving

  • Stable and robust laser source
  • Superb contrast and grayscale depth
  • Resolution up to 1200 DPI
  • Microtext, tactile engraving and other security features

Visual verification (after laser engraving)

  • Visual verification: OCR , OCV, barcode, 2D code reader (QR, datamatrix, etc.)
  • Vision system developed in-house for maximum flexibility
  • Verification in red or optional in IR light

Output stack holders

  • 4 output stack holders for 500 cards each (expandable)
  • Reject box at the end of the belt – a card may be considered defective and destined for reject box. The reason for rejection will be included in the report

Performance

  • Up to 2500 cards/hour – one side numbering
  • Up to 2000 cards/hour – two sides complex numbering
